Last updated: June 2026This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the ControlShift AI platform, website, APIs, and related services ("Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.
Permitted Use

- Customer support, sales, and lead generation automation
- Appointment scheduling and business communications
- Integrations with platforms you are authorized to connect
- Internal workflow automation aligned with your policies and applicable law
Prohibited Activities

- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or unlawful telemarketing
- Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others
- Distribute malware, phishing content, or fraudulent materials
- Impersonate individuals or organizations without authorization
- Collect or process data without a lawful basis or required consent
- Record voice calls without required notice or consent
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law
- Circumvent usage limits, billing controls, or security measures
AI-Specific Restrictions
Last updated: June 2026Use of AI features is also subject to our AI Usage & Responsible AI Policy. Prohibited AI uses include generating illegal content, evading safety controls, and deploying agents in high-risk contexts without appropriate human oversight.
Content Standards
Last updated: June 2026You are responsible for all content uploaded, configured, or transmitted through your account, including knowledge base materials, prompts, and agent responses. Content must not infringe intellectual property rights or contain unlawful material.
Integration and API Use
Last updated: June 2026When connecting third-party services (Google, Meta, WhatsApp, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or others), you must comply with each provider's terms and obtain all required permissions. You may not use integrations to access data you are not authorized to process.
Monitoring and Enforcement
Last updated: June 2026We may monitor use of the Service to protect platform integrity and investigate suspected violations. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access, remove content, or report unlawful activity to authorities where appropriate.
Reporting Violations
Last updated: June 2026To report abuse or violations of this AUP, contact support@controlshiftai.com with relevant details, including URLs, account identifiers, and timestamps where available.
Changes to This Policy
Last updated: June 2026We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
